Unfortunately, these are also perfect places for pigeons to make nests due to the relatively cool temperatures underneath them. Protect your investment! Have us install plastic-coated wire mesh around the panels to prevent unwanted visitors. We install the mesh in a specific way so as not to void warranties or damage the panels. Additionally, the mesh is easy to remove in the event that the panels require maintenance or repair. Whenever possible we even perform a cleanup of any feces or existing nests to remove the disease-carrying mess.
• Cove and Eave Exclusion
  • These shady areas provide a cooler spot for pigeons to rest and lay eggs. To avoid this, our technicians can install wire mesh or nylon netting to prevent pigeons from accessing these areas. Spike strips are a humane tool that prevents birds from standing or landing in specific areas. The spikes do not hurt the birds, but it is nearly impossible for them to land on the spikes.
• NEW! Optical Gel Discs
  • Where pigeons are roosting, nesting, or landing, we can install discs of a patented gel that glows under ultraviolet (UV) lighting. Although humans need a special light to see UV, pigeons and other birds can see UV light. Because of that, these glowing discs appear as fire to birds, so they avoid them. The discs also have a scent that is unpleasant to the birds but is typically not noticeable to humans.
