I really wanted this company to work out, but after several months I am walking away extremely disappointed.
I hired Preventive Pest Control shortly after buying my house. I was trying to get a rush service done because we had just moved in and were already seeing pests. They came, sprayed and handed me a year long contract with multiple services. Having already sprayed the house I felt pressured to sign.
Since then, I have had two paid services and two additional re-services because I kept seeing pests after the treatments. Despite all of those visits, I am STILL finding spiders, bugs, and roaches throughout my home. They are upstairs, downstairs, and in the side house. LITERALLY STILL EVERYWHERE!
That was pretty much the final straw for us.
My wife is extremely uncomfortable in the house now and has had trouble sleeping after finding bugs in our bedroom. We hired a pest control company because we wanted peace of mind, and instead we are still dealing with the exact same issues months later and now the stress of being in a contract and paying for services that do NOTHING.
The service itself was also hit or miss. Some technicians seemed rushed and I had to point out areas that I wanted treated because they appeared to be skipping over them. On one visit, the technician sprayed and left without even speaking to me before leaving the property. No goodbye, no summary of what was treated, nothing. I never got the chance to confirm whether the areas I specifically asked about were even addressed.
What frustrates me the most is that after multiple services, multiple re-services, and VERY little to show for it, the company still wants to charge me a cancellation fee because I no longer want to continue paying for a service that has not solved the problem.
I understand that pest control is not magic and that every house is different. But after months of treatments, I expected SOME level of improvement. Instead, I still have pests throughout my ENTIRE home, an unhappy wife, and now a company trying to charge me to leave.

Jason is friendly and efficient. He makes sure that my home is thoroughly protected from creepy crawlers and ensures I am happy with other services that I use with Preventative Pest. I am extremely satisfied with the care and attention he delivers time and time again.
Adam was so helpful today! We have had some questions about some other services with the company and Adam took the time to explain them all to me and to talk about a couple other topics. Adam has great customer service and I really appreciate the help today!
Our recent community walk with Jordan from the rodent control team was outstanding. Jordan’s deep knowledge of rodent behavior and prevention strategies was immediately clear, and his professionalism throughout the visit made the experience exceptional. What stood out most was his genuine desire to understand our needs and ensure we felt confident in the plan moving forward. Jordan’s dedication and expertise make him a tremendous asset to the company.
We called Preventive Pest Control due to what we thought was an apparent termite infestation discovered shortly after a complete air duct replacement. Preventive scheduled same day service and we had the pleasure of Miguel Subia responding. He quickly identified the insects as non termite and then went about our home checking for the source of our insects in the house. During his inspection he was educating us on just what the problem was and how they made their way in. He diligently checked the entire house for any signs of termites and explaining as he went just how to fix any potential problems in a way easily understood. We were very impressed with his respect of our home wearing booties during the whole process and at the same time being educational about why there was potential problems. As a result we inquired about servicing our house on a regular schedule and were quite pleased with the process as he explained how it worked and why it was done the way he explained. We had read the reviews prior to his arrival and all of the positive attributes put forward were also visible in his visit to our home. We would definitely recommend this company and feel comfortable in the protection offered in the service performed.
Symon was very professional and courteous. In the past few months we started to notice these random yellowish-brown 2" scorpions in the house. I Googled scorpion/spider bug companies and found Preventive Pest Control. Symon came out and sprayed the whole exterior perimeter, the garage and interior. There was no chemical smell and the spray residue dried fast.
I just want to say thank you for your quick response with the services you guys provided. They worked as fast as they can to give you the services you need in a very quickly time manner. I want to give a shout out to Rodger with all the knowledge he provided while doing his duties. I really appreciate the information he provided as well as the job he did.
After getting high praise and referral from friends of mine in the neighborhood, I contacted Preventive Pest Control Las Vegas, to help me deal with an over infestation of weeds in my front and backyard, over the last month. They sent one of their techs, Wes, within 24 hours, and were kind enough to adjust the time at the last minute upon my request. He was punctual, friendly, and informative. As I mentioned they already came highly recommended, and once I received the quote I signed up on the spot. We've been with Preventive Pest for about 8 years & I love them. We never have any problems with spiders in the house. If we ever have a problem they come out for free. They even came when we had an ant problem and got rid of them immediately. I always tell everyone to go through Preventive if you don't like bugs. Plus, they only have to come every other month & the spray is safe for kids & pets.

We love preventative. We’ve had them service 3 of our houses now. Our third house we tried to manage bugs by ourselves with spray from Home Depot and it just wasn’t working. We really didn’t want to sign up with a contract so we tried someone who didn’t require one, but they were very unprofessional and didn’t even get rid of half the bugs. Ultimately we ended up going back to this company because they’re very professional and they get rid of all the bugs. If you still see bugs, they’ll even come back out. They have great availability and will still service the outside of your house if you’re not home. We didn’t realize how much we needed their service until we didn’t have it anymore!
Clayton examined our backyard and confirmed the fact that we have gophers. He set a couple of traps based on recent activity, explained how the traps work, and asked that we stay in contact with him if we see any activity. Clayton is knowledgeable and very professional. Glad we hired him.

We have been using Preventive Pest for 10+ years. They always let us know ahead of time when they’re coming, and also when they’re on their way. In the entire time we’ve been using their services, we’ve only ever had them spray inside our home once. That’s how well the spray works outside. We never have any pest problems. They come out every two months, but will come out again within that time frame if you need them to. Within the last two years, we also started utilizing their weed control service. It’s been very nice not having to pull weeds in the yard. The services are very reasonably priced and every single person that has serviced our home has had top tier customer service. I highly recommend Preventive Pest Control for your pest and weed control needs.
