Las Vegas Weed Control

Las Vegas Weed Control

Do you have weeds that are ruining your beautifully landscaped yard? Sometimes it seems like no matter what you do, they continue to grow back. This usually means spending hundreds of dollars on weed killer products or hours of back-breaking work pulling each weed by hand.

Our Las Vegas weed control service will take care of all of those pesky weeds so you don’t have to! We send a licensed pest- and weed-control technician to your house. He will then pull any of the larger weeds or cut down many of the smaller weeds. All sites of weed growth are then sprayed with a mixture of products that are selected to work best on the types of weeds that are growing. The last step is for the technician to spray all treatable areas with a pre-emergent. This product will prevent new weeds from growing.

As every yard is different and weeds can be a pain, we have the same Satisfaction Guarantee that we provide with our regular pest control service. If any weeds pop up between your regular scheduled biannual service, we will come back again for free and take care of them at no cost.

The best part of this service is that it builds on itself. If this service is completed about every 6 months, you will not see any more weeds around your property. The more treatments we complete, the better the product works at keeping the weeds gone.

FAQs of Weed Control

Q: How often do you need to spray?
A: Every 6 months

Q: When do you recommend having the service completed?
A: Anytime you are seeing weeds. The earlier we start, the better the product works. Typically we spray in early-Spring and early-Fall as that is when most weeds are beginning to sprout.

Q: Will this affect existing plants?
A: Our spot treatment is to kill any weeds that are already sprouted or established. We WILL NOT spray this on any other plants as it could affect them as well. The pre-emergent that is used to prevent the re-growth of weeds is safe for most other plants. People will even use pre-emergent in their gardens without any effect on existing or established plants.

Q: What types of weeds does this service cover?
A: Any types of weeds that are common around households. This includes broad-leaf weeds like bull thistle, chickweed, or dandelions; and grassy weeds like cheatgrass, crabgrass, or rattail fescue.

Q: Can you spray in my rock landscape?
A: Yes! Our weed control service works perfectly in rock and xeriscape landscapes.

What We Promise

Preventive Pest Control is not just a name.  We will do the right thing at the right time.  Our experience and knowledge in pest control has allowed us to create a scientific process to eliminate infestations and control future pests. We don’t just spray your business once and go on our way. We proactively monitor and service your business to prevent pest problems from occurring.  If you see covered pest activity in between visits, we will return with appropriate measures

Bed Bugs

Bed bugs have been nearly absent from developed countries for the last 30 years, thanks largely to the effectiveness of long-lasting insecticide products like DDT that were used extensively during the period around World War II.

Scorpions

In the southwest United States, scorpion control is a priority. Many types of scorpions are native to the desert environment and encounters are common. Not all scorpions are poisonous, but all have a sting that will cause pain and damage to people and pets. The Bark Scorpion is considered the most poisonous of all scorpions in the United States and for most of us it’s in our back yard.

Termites

Termites cost millions of dollars in damage a year to property owners. Termites don’t just attack homes; they infest commercial property as well. At Preventive, we offer affordable and dependable way to eliminate your current termite problem.
